Awaiting legal review. This text describes how the platform actually handles data and bookings, and is a working draft for a qualified adviser to review and adopt before launch.
What we collect
When you create an account, we collect:
- Your name and phone number. The number is your identity here — it is how you sign in and how we confirm it is really you.
- Your email address, if you give us one, used for booking confirmations and receipts.
When you book, we additionally hold:
- Which professional you booked, when, what it cost, and the status of that booking.
- A payment reference from Razorpay confirming a payment succeeded.
- Any review you choose to leave afterwards.
What we never collect
- Your card details. Payment happens inside Razorpay's own checkout. Card numbers never reach our servers, and we could not store them if we wanted to.
- The content of your sessions. Consultations are one-to-one, encrypted and not recorded. We know a session happened and how long it ran; we do not know what was said in it.
- Clinical or case notes. Anything your professional records is theirs, held under their own professional obligations, not ours.
Who else sees your information
Your name is shown to the professional you book with, so they know who they are meeting. They do not see your other bookings, or that you have seen anyone else on the platform.
Three service providers process data on our behalf:
- Google Firebase — sends the sign-in code to your phone and confirms you entered it correctly. It receives your phone number for that purpose.
- Razorpay — takes payment. It receives your name, email, phone number and the amount, and handles your card details entirely within its own systems.
- Agora — carries the encrypted audio and video of your session between you and your professional. It is a transport layer; sessions are not recorded or stored there.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Reviews
If you review a professional, your review is public on their profile and may appear on our client stories page. It is shown under your first name and the initial of your surname — never your full name, phone number or email.
How long we keep it
Account and booking records are kept while your account is open, and for as long afterwards as we are required to retain financial records. You can ask us to delete your account at any time; where we are obliged to keep a transaction record, we keep that alone and remove the rest.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Write to us through the contact page and we will respond within one working day.
Cookies
This website sets one essential cookie, which holds your sign-in session. It is set only after you sign in, cannot be read by JavaScript in your browser, and is removed when you sign out. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will say so on this page and update the date at the top.
